Shop Supervisor

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Supervisor to elevate our shop operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, lead our team, and ensure effective communication throughout the shop. You will have authority over staff members and will be responsible for maintaining optimal performance and adherence to company policies and procedures. Your leadership will be crucial in driving our team's success and upholding our high standards of service.

The ideal candidate will have some prior experience supervising a crew of technicians and have hands on experience working in the heavy-duty industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of skilled technicians and staff members.
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of repair and maintenance services.
• Monitor and optimize workflow to ensure efficiency and high-quality workmanship.
• Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and industry standards.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
• Analyze shop performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to support shop operations.
• Ensure customers receive the most expedient service available through questioning and understanding repair requests. And relay customers' repair problems to mechanics. 
• Address customer complaints in a professional, resolution-focused, manner. 
• Perform daily clerical and office duties such as documents required for warranties, policy settlements, repair order filing and repair preparation for warranties. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Truck/Trailer repair industry or similar industry, where working in a repair shop-type atmosphere.
• A valid California driver's license.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the truck and trailer repair industry.
• Strong knowledge of repair processes, industry standards, and safety protocols.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.

• Promotion of company goals by supporting and implementing changes is imperative.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, multi-task and apply initiative.
• Great attitude & punctuality, strong communication skills, safety conscious, good instincts, organization skills and self-motivation.

Compensation:

🗓️ Full Time: Monday - Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm
